in LibO 5.4.0.0 alpha the ".soc" extensions are not visible anymore. in 5.2.4.2 the ".soc" is still visible @Jay enough to call it WFM?
Removing of the .soc extension is a step in the right direction, but still palettes names like freecolor-hlc dont seem nice. @Heiko: Your thoughts?

soc extension was removed. Further renaming is not possible without a mapping table.
