This bug is extremelly annoying. None of the other Office suite have it (MS-Office, Onlyoffice, WPS), can it be fix ASAP?

I take the opportunity to raide the question about "sponsored" fixes? (Give a donation for a bug to be fixed?)

Best,

Same behaviour in LibreOffice 6.2 Master and MSO Word 2010
Comment 6 Xisco Faulí 2018-10-17 11:43:52 UTC
Hello Christopher,
It seems image in header is also hidden behind the box in MSO 2010, thus, LibreOffice is behaving correctly.
Could you please tell us how the document was created?
Setting to NEEDINFO...
Comment 7 Christopher POTTER 2018-10-17 13:17:18 UTC
Hello,

This issue does not occur on:

- MS-Office 2016 (and perhaps 2013)
- WPS
- OnlyOffice

So if it is same (wrong) behavior on MS-Office 2010, most users will not care, they want a correct display on latest Office suites.

Best,
Christopher

Could you please explain how the document was created?

OnlyOffice and WPS use microsoft's filters, thus it's expected they behave the same way as MSO, however, the document is different depending on the MSO version, which makes me wonder whether it's a bug or not...
Comment 9 Christopher POTTER 2018-10-17 14:03:25 UTC
The document has been created with Word and modified by OnlyOffice.

We could agree that this could be an OnlyOffice bug *however* when this OnlyOffice modified document is opened with WPS or Word 2016 the display is correct. Only LibreOffice has a display problem.
Comment 10 Xisco Faulí 2018-10-17 14:14:41 UTC
> correct. Only LibreOffice has a display problem.

and MSO 2010. Do you have the file before saving it in OnlyOffice?
OTOH, if you open it in MSO 2016 and save it again, what happens if you open it with LibreOffice?

wrong file edited and resaved with MSO2016

if i edit the 'corrupted' file and save it with MS-2016, when re-opening with LibreOffice the display is correct again
Comment 13 Xisco Faulí 2018-10-19 11:27:12 UTC
Let's put it back to NEW, clarifying it's only when a document is created with OnlyOffice, reducing severity...

Comment 15 Christopher POTTER 2018-10-31 12:09:01 UTC
For me it is LibreOffice bug. The logo has a wrong Z index when the paragraph has a background color.

The document is correctly displayed on WPS, OnlyOffice, Word

"Compte Rendu" in the header requests a white background for the whole paragraph. Ceo-vision image requests to be in the background - behind the text.
