Description ravingdesi 2014-04-20 19:35:28 UTC
Problem description:
Some complex graphical objects are not shown correctly in presentation view and differ distinctly from the preview. If converted to ppt and presented in powerpoint, it works correctly.
(I used LO 4.2.3.3, however selecting it above only gave the error "There is no version named '4.2.3.3 rc' in the 'LibreOffice' product.")

Attached a sample file with a royalty free graphic and some screenshots.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Download file from https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17406199/Unbenannt.odp (sorry attaching does not seem to work)
2. Open in Impress
3. Start presentation

Current behavior:
Presentation view shows it as
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17406199/Arbeitsfl%C3%A4che%201_201.png

Expected behavior:
Preview shows it as
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17406199/Unbenannt.odp%20-%20LibreOffice%20Impress_201.png
This is also the way it is shown when converted to ppt and presented in powerpoint.

I hope this report helps you to find the bug. Thank you very much.

Actually, when having animations in slides containing such objects, I have even experienced impress to stop responding. Converting it to bitmap solves the problem.
Comment 2 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2014-04-29 12:33:46 UTC
Confirmed exact same behaviour in 4.1.5.3
