This is a feature request. Confirming and prioritizing. Enhancement: As Kohei mentioned, feature request. Do you have an example of software that does this? I don't think any office suite I've ever worked with has this - although I agree it'd be useful for a handful of power users Lowest: As I said above, Pivot Tables in general are for power users, not a common feature at all for the regular user. Furthermore, you can easily format the numbers (or anything) after you make the table by just selecting the cells and formatting the cells. Problem description: (1) Help to format pivot tables is lacking (2) I was expecting a right-click menu for formatting a data field. Norhing happens when user right clicks on a data field. Steps to reproduce: 1. create pivot table with data fields 2. in the wizard, right click on a data field Current behavior: there is no formatting sub-menu Expected behavior: there is a formatting sub-menu Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0
