FWIW, this sounds as if some "dirty" key in your keyboard got accidentally stuck. If that is not the case, I guess it would not be easy for anyway to reproduce.

For now, I am setting this report as INSUFFICIENT DATA.

If this happens again, please re-set the report to UNCONFIRMED and add any relevant info.

That still seems as if something got stuck in the keyboard, pressing one of the "4" keys. I am not saying that you are pressing it, but rather that something presses it at some point, without you noticing.

I am not going to set this report again as INSUFFICIENT DATA. I'll leave this as UNCONFIRMED as you set it. Maybe by chance someone might reproduce this behavior.

If you happen to notice the same "4" key (or any other for that matter) repeating itself (in whichever software), please report it here.

If you have any additional info at some point, please add a comment.

I would try to press "4" in any other application, a simple editor or something like this. Looks like a hardware defect (keyboard), not a special behavior of LibreOffice.

I understand what you are saying and I will continue to collect more information. Given what I've tried, I don't think it is a keyboard issue since I've tried multiple keyboards and the same behavior was observed. I will try using the keyboard along with the "4" key in other applications to observe the behavior.

Let us know if you can also see the issue in other applications.
