This version does not use additional space in the Tab by stacking DevTools and DesignMode.
rafaelhlima committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/47f21d290087638b1986c291c969bf2997574ddd tdf#141591 Add DevTools to the Tabbed interface It will be available in 7.4.0. The patch should be included in the daily builds available at https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours.
