Writer file showing a footnotes/endnotes issue

Open attached writer file. Compare the appearance of the NUMBERED footnotes and endnotes versus those footnotes/endnotes with a TYPOGRAPHIC MARK at the beginning. In the latter cases, a space is missing at the beginning of the text.

CONCLUSION: The Begin and End settings ("Tools > Footnotes and Endnotes") don't work when you apply the note via "Insert > Footnote and Endnote > Footnote or Endnote > Numbering > Character".

Still the same behaviour, but I just saw, that settings in dialog "Settings of Footnotes and Endnotes" ("Tools > Footnotes and Endnotes") are only for autonumbering. So we can't expect, that those settings also effect manual numbering with a character (Insert -> Footnote and Endnote -> Footnote or Endnote)
