.odt file to be saved

Attached is a .odt file and the PDF file it produced.  Notice that the equations on the first page are not the same.  There have been several generations of this file.  An earlier incarnation may have been a Word document.
I am using an HP Compaq 8100 Elite with Linux Mint 18.3 ‘Sylvia’ running LibreOffice 6.0. 

Well...O.K...I wanted to send the PDF file as well, but your system seems to only accept one attachment.  This should be considered a problem.

Attached is the PDF with missing equations.

I was able to make a proper PDF using my laptop.  It has POP OS rather than Mint.

the equation still exist. could you try to higher version of LibreOffice?
