There's the idea to rework bibliography (see bug 121958). I assume, that would include your suggestion. I've reviewed the entry #121958 and I think it is a good direction. But the requirement in this entry here is not covered? The Use Case is here, to devide the bibliography (table) in the document layout in different parts. In this way it would be possible to make the following: a) eg. insert two bibliography (tables/sections) for books and internet ressources (or something like that) in one document layout b) generate a user specific "bibliography" perhaps for figures/pictures with the flexibilty to use attributes (coming out of the database or XML model) For b) it would be possible to generate documents with the figure description like a bibliography entry and generate a bibliography (table) as a "Table of Figures" This would be very helpfully in context of scientific documents (according to specific rules of some universities)... It would be fine, if it would be possible to add this (may be simple?) type filter to the current and/or reworked version of the bibliography dialog/system. Moving to NEW...
