Description Richard Neill 2018-07-19 20:41:44 UTC
Description:
I just made a slide deck with a video in it, and when exporting to PDF, the video was still embedded in the PDF, resulting in a 230MB PDF! Actually, the PDF does allow this to be played back in some viewers - but most people wouldn't expect that.

So, please add an option to the export dialog box that converts a video into a still image. After all, a PDF is frequently intended to be emailed around and printed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a presentation, containing at least one video.
2. Export to PDF

Actual Results:
PDF contains the video - and it is possible to play it back.
That's a nice feature of the PDF, but it makes the file ridiculously big, and it's probably not what the user expected.

Expected Results:
PDF should not contain a video - it's expected to be a printable format.
Actually, some people may find this useful, but many would not. So I'm suggesting making this an option.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Add an option on the PDF export dialog, to "Convert Video to Still"
